BEGINNER'S GEMSTONE RING CLASS / Thurs Jan 29th / 6-8:30pm / Make a simple gemstone ring

Join Strut Jewelry owner & designer Alyssa in her home studio and learn to craft a beautiful gemstone silver ring in this beginner-level hands-on class using calibrated gemstones and bezel cups. Gemstone size is either 3mm or 6mm.

DURATION: 2.5 hours, 6pm-8:30pm

INCLUDES: Supplies to make one gemstone ring the simple way using calibrated gemstones and bezel cups (gemstones will be available for purchase at class; prices range from $10-$20 per gemstone depending on size)

PRICE: $145 + tax per participant, plus gemstone cost paid during class ($10-$20)

LOCATION: Local only, in Alyssa's west Ottawa home studio (near Baseline/Merivale Ave) 

Learn how to size your finger properly, basic silversmithing/soldering skills, studio safety, torching, fluxing, gem setting tips and tricks, and leave with insider knowledge about material & tool sourcing, tips and tricks for setting up a home practice, plus a shiny ring handmade by YOU! 

This class is suitable for ages 16+. Alyssa has a small, hypoallergenic pup who will be in studio :)
