Black Friday seems to be everywhere this year. And that's fine. Trust us - we love a good sale!
But we’re excited to offer an alternative way to help support our local community this Black Friday weekend.
So we’re donating 15% of sales from now until Nov 27th to Minwaashin Lodge; an Indigenous women’s support centre right here in Ottawa.
This centre provides a range of services to First Nations, Inuit and Métis women and children who are survivors of domestic and other forms of violence, and who may also be suffering the effects of the residential school system (read more on the Minwaashin Lodge website minlodge.com).
However you choose to participate in BF this year (or not!), it's wonderful to know there are all kinds of ways to support both small business and our community. Win-win!
