Break these jewelry styling rules, starting now!

Break these jewelry styling rules, starting now!

There are lots of style tips and tricks you can follow to perfect your jewelry game. But when it comes to hard and fast "rules", we like to proceed with caution. Accessorizing is all about experimenting, and most importantly, showcasing your personal style. Following these common jewelry rules is definitely not a trend we're following this year!

Rule #1: jewelry is only for fancy nights out
Show this rule to the door! Wearing jewelry looks and feels spectacular, whether it's paired with your sweatshirt or with a killer dress. Mixing high and low style is fun, creative, and looks ultra modern. We adore a tank and wide-leg flowy pj pants paired with a group of stacking rings, or a hoodie and some Flora hoops. Plus, if you're like us and just can't be bothered to take your jewelry off, our metals will always stay looking gorgeous even when worn constantly!

Rule #2: you should always style similar jewelry pieces together
There is some truth to this rule, but don't let that stop you from experimenting. Wearing similarly-shaped rings, such as our beautiful zig zag rings, creates a ring stack that looks sleek and put-together. But don't be afraid to mix-and-match textures, metals, and add some gemstone rings to the party. Play around with different shapes until you find the ring stack that's perfect for you!

Rule #3: there is "women's jewelry" and "men's jewelry"
Newsflash, there's no such thing! Jewelry isn't inherently gendered, and we feel strongly that everyone should wear what makes them feel good. If you're not sure where to start, try a slim stacking ring or one or our gorgeous chains; these two pieces will become the basis of your jewelry wardrobe and have so much versatility. Our advice is always to try pieces on (come to a show in person if you can, we'd love to help you!), and have fun with it! And with our affordable pieces, you can experiment with good quality pieces to figure out what feels right without breaking the bank.

Rule #4: less is more
Whomever came up with this rule never rocked a totally badass necklace combo. You can (and totally should) wear several chains at once! Make a statement and showcase your creativity with a gorgeous necklace stack, even add in some charms that have personal significance. And who says you should only wear one ring on each finger? Stack those babies to your heart's content!

Rule #5: only wear jewelry you can "pull off"
There are so many articles out there advising the "appropriate" earrings for each face shape. Our advice? Wear the jewelry you like! Just because you have larger fingers doesn't mean you shouldn't wear dainty rings. If you love them, you'll rock them. Have you been eyeing our anklets but are feeling like they won't work? Remember we have inclusive sizing and can make any size you need, because we strongly believe everyone should feel great in their skin (preferably decked out in silver, gold-fill and gemstones!) Treat yourself to something new and different because it'll look gorgeous on you, babe!
